Kärnsund was founded in 1971 and since then we have supplied wood and wood-based materials from suppliers around the world.

Kärnsund has been part of the Holm Trävaror Ab group since 2021. The group’s turnover is approx. 55 MEUR and it employs approx. 80 employees.

At Kärnsund , we have directly imported and delivered special wood materials to the wood processing industry and shipyards, as well as the construction supplies trade for more than 50 years.

With the help of a worldwide network of suppliers, we always deliver from raw material to the finished product. We always import directly without intermediaries, so we can guarantee competitive prices, quality and availability.

In cooperation with our leading suppliers, we work actively to be able to supply products for the special needs of our customers, e.g. special dimensions and qualities for shipyards and the wood processing industry, as well as a suitable product selection for the construction industry.
